This section defines all those helpful questions we want to ask and get answers to! If you can’t see answer to a specific question, simply drop me a line. I’m always happy to help.
What is your style?
I consider my style a hybrid of other styles, the most prevalent one being Luxette. I am a fan of many kinds of fashion and try to incorporate them into my style.
How Much is Shipping?
In the US, shipping is generally $7-$15 and sent by USPS Priority, whichever is fastest, safest and the least expensive. Anything bigger or heavier (dresses, multiple orders) or needing priority shipping will have to be calculated out when the order is finished. In these instances shipping will be paid separately from the initial bill. All shipping is paid by the customer.
Outside the US orders will be sent by USPS.
I took my measurements wrong so now my outfit doesn’t fit! What do I do?
If it is my fault it doesn’t fit I will remake it gladly or give a partial refund to cover time. Due to the nature of custom clothing, the money paid for fabric can not be returned unless the garment is shipped back to me to resell. If you took your measurements incorrectly I cannot give any refund, partial or otherwise, but can remake it or resize it (within reason) for the difference in cost of time.
How do I order in a specific size?
I make EVERYTHING custom sized to your specifications from size XS to size 3X. I need accurate measurements so please make sure to check the measurements page if you don’t understand how to take your own. Please email me if you need help.
Can I request Custom Items and if so, what’s the price?
Yes. Yes you can. The thing about custom items is they are more time consuming and therefore will cost more than something off the rack. I know that custom streetwear and Lolita clothing are spendy, but consumers have to realize that when an item of clothing is made from scratch and the pattern is draped or drafted for each individual order, the designer is actually supposed to charge for that time as well. In fact, most couture designers start charging time from the minute they begin the initial design. I know it seems expensive sometimes, but to stay in business, it has to be. Each item I make is a one of a kind item. It’s made for you to your measurements and specifications. I like making custom clothing best because it’s more personal that way.
Do you keep good contact?
Yes, I return all emails within a few days. If something goes wrong in timing or if something comes up that lengthens the time between putting in and recieving your order I’ll contact you then, too.
Do you want pictures of our purchases in use?
I would LOVE pics for the gallery section! I love to keep an ongoing portfolio/brag book for cons, also, I’m a big show-off and would love people to see what they can get!
Can I flyer for you?
Yes indeed! I can’t be everywhere so when people offer to help me out by flyering, I give them little gifties in return. Email me.
Why don’t you always use the same fabric?
When you’re a solo designer it doesn’t actually pay to buy a lot of one style of fabric. I usually buy enough for a few items since by the time I make them, the season is over and it’s time to move on. Sadly, sometimes people request an item and the fabric has been discontinued. When this happens, I work closely with them to pick a fabric that says their personality and make it for them at no extra cost. In other instances, especially locally, someone comes to me with a pile of fabric and says, “Make something out of this, please!” That’s why you’ll sometimes see something in a fabric that doesn’t match the rest of the website.
Can I ask another question?
Of course! We’re here to help, and if the question is a common one, we’ll even add it to this section.
